WHAT ARE THE SPECIFIC CONDITIONS THAT GOVERN BUSINESS OPERATIONS IN THE AEROSPACE INDUSTRY IN YOUR OPINION?

Due to safety reasons the technical requirements for consumables and production materials are very complex. Both products and suppliers are therefore subject to what are in some cases very stringent requirements. Because our employees have many years of experience, we are very familiar with the requirements demanded of and by our customers. Production bottlenecks caused by the nonavailability of C-parts, or even downtime, result in very high costs. In order to prevent this, we offer our customers a sophisticated Kanban system tailored to their individual requirements. Short delivery times, AOG deliveries, and individual order quantities safeguard processes and help overcome all types of bottlenecks.

You have been working in the aerospace industry for many years now. Are there any events of importance which you can tell us about?

During an ergonomics project for our customer Airbus, we produced customized foam mats as support and assembly aids for the A320. This application required us to climb into the plane’s wing tanks, which was a harrowing but also special experience. Now, every time I see the tanker truck when I’m flying, I look back fondly on that experience.
