A post on the news portal “Airliners” introduces HLC Aviation´s Kanban system
Do you always want shelves which are adequately filled with the correct materials and at the same time have no stress with the reordering? This is made possible by the HLC Aviation Kanban System. It automatically understands the needs of customers and the goods are delivered directly to the customer's workstations. The logistics concept is a self-regulating system that relieves OEMs, airlines and MROs of all their warehousing, reordering and intralogistics work.
How important such a system is, and especially in relation to C-parts, which have a low added value but which are nevertheless crucial in the production process, is described in a post on the news portal “Airliners”. There is an introduction to HLC Aviation´s logistics concept. "We offer an automated system that records inventories electronically and sends orders directly to company IT systems," explains Head of Sales René Bouchard.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Uwe Clausen, Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics, comments on airliners.de about the requirements for efficient logistics within the aerospace industry. "The better an order and transport system is maintained and integrated into handling and transport functions, the better can be achieved ready availability and efficiency in the dynamic environment of the aviation industry," says Clausen.
